  • Contact information such as residential/mailing address, telephone or cellphone number and email address;

  • Demographic information such as postcode;

  • Financial billing information that we require to process your payment

  • Information about your purchase through our online store.

We do not collect any “special categories” of personal information that could be of a sensitive nature such as religion, sex, sexual preference, health information etc.

Any information that you choose to submit/post to our social platforms or any other public platforms may be read, collected and or used by others who visit the platform. CeltiCraft Jewellery & Armour accepts no responsibility for the personal information you choose to submit to these public forums. 

Why we collect this information

We collect your data for several reasons, including but not limited to:

  • To manage your queries and complaints on products, orders or technical matters via email, telephone or social media;

  • To comply with legal obligations, court findings and decisions from authorities;

  • For loss prevention management, to ensure that items and conditions are being followed to ensure our services are not being misused.
     

Who can access your data?

Your details may be shared within CeltiCraft Jewellery & Armour, but will never be sold or swapped with third parties. Any data that is forwarded to third parties is used only to render our services. Any disclosure of your data must be for the sole and primary purpose of providing you with our products and/or services in accordance with the policy, or for any other specified lawful purpose.

Retention

Your personal data will be kept in an anonymous form for a period no longer than is reasonable. 

Data collected that is defined under “what information we collect” will be stored:

  • For the duration of your professional relationship with CeltiCraft Jewellery & Armour and five (5) years thereafter, if you are a client – meaning you made a purchase. 

Thereafter your data will be anonymised and deleted.

Your rights

 

Right to access:

You have the right to access your personal data that is stored by CeltiCraft Jewellery & Armour. You are entitled to know what personal information is being processed, why we are doing so and whether we have shared said data. You may exercise this right by submitting a request in writing to access your data. You can contact us through the details provided in the Contact Us section.

Right to erasure:

You have the right to have any of your stored personal information erased at anytime except for in the following circumstances:

  • You have an ongoing matter with customer service;

  • You have an order which has not yet been dispatched;

  • You are suspected of misusing or have misused our services within the last three (3) years;

  • You are suspected of a crime and the information held by CeltiCraft Jewellery & Armour is to be used as evidence in relation to that crime.

Right to object:

You have the right to object to your personal information being used. CeltiCraft Jewellery & Armour will not continue to use your information unless we can demonstrate legitimate grounds for use thereof. Additionally, you have the right to opt out of direct marketing. 

 

Changes to our policy

We at CeltiCraft Jewellery & Armour reserve the right to amend this policy at any time by updating this webpage. Changes will not be applied retroactively, but will be effective on orders placed after the amendment.
